Peter Bradley is the sole figure on screen in this intimate portrait piece, which is also an oral memoir and deep study in creativity. Recorded primarily in 2020, we meet Bradley at a critical juncture; painting beautiful pictures with no audience for his work, financially insecure, and seemingly overlooked as a notable figure in art history. By 1972 Bradley had likely been the first Black abstract artist to be represented by a major gallery; the first Black haute art dealer in NYC; and curator of the first integrated art exhibition in America.
