Disability Will Be Televised

First presented in 2022. One out of seven people have some kind of disability, making them part of the world’s largest minority. Despite this, disabled people make up less than 1% of characters on American TV. Activists and actors Steve Way and Lolo Spencer are here to change that. Join them in a discussion about accessibility as activism, and what disabled and non-disabled creators must do in order to demand —and create— not just more accurate and intersectional representation, but also lasting change, while fostering an environment of unrestricted creativity and storytelling.
