Nine year old Ollie (formerly known as Sophia) had a childhood stroke during the 2020 COVID pandemic. Several years later, Ollie asks his sister Annalise, an aspiring documentary maker, if she could make a film to help explain what happened to him so he doesn’t need to recount the experience so often. During filming, Ollie comes out as Transgender and the film moves swiftly away from Ollie searching for a way to explain the stroke to people, and transforms into a tender portrait of growing up, resilience, and the love and complexities of family.
